Gone but not Forgotten
 

 

Joshua was born in Fresno, Ca on May 6, 2002 to Mark R. and Monica Hansen. He passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Stanford, Ca. Age 10


He was a student at Foothill Elementary School in Auberry, Ca. Joshua loved sports and played basketball, baseball, soccer and snowboarding. Joshua had a smile that would melt your heart.


Joshua loved nature and was a very respectable young man. He loved to make his family and friends laugh. He always looked forward to working with his dad from the age of four. Loved singing in the car with mom. He was a happy mountain boy, through and through. “Josh” will be greatly missed, but not forgotten. We love you bud.

Joshua came down with the flu and after a few days of home care, his condition worsened. He was then taken to his pediatrician at Kaiser. They quickly realized his oxygen levels were alarmingly low so he was air lifted to the Children's Hospital in Madera, CA. the doctors did all they could with the equipment they had but soon realized that better resources were needed. He was then transferred to Stanford, CA at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital where he would spend his last days with us on earth, but is forever in HEAVEN.


Joshua is survived by his parents Mark R. and Monica Hansen, his brother, Joseph R. Hansen and sister Sarah Mae Hansen all of Auberry, Ca. He also leaves his grandparents, Jerry and Carol Hansen of Auberry and Ilia Folia of Clovis, Ca. and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
